Governor Kawira Mwangaza did not mince her words as she suggested the involvement of her deputy in the heinous crime during a press briefing. According to Governor Mwangaza, the person responsible for luring Snipper to his tragic end received money through Mpesa, allegedly sent by Deputy Governor Mutuma on the day of the murder.
Expressing her concerns, Governor Mwangaza questioned the investigative efforts surrounding Snipper’s murder, highlighting the absence of inquiries directed towards the deputy governor. She questioned why detectives have not probed Deputy Governor Mutuma, emphasizing the financial connection through Mpesa and demanding clarity on the purpose of the transaction.
“Why have detectives not questioned the deputy governor? He sent money to the person who lured Snipper to his death via Mpesa. What was the money for?” queried Governor Kawira.
